Konferencija Švedijoje

Lapkričio 19-22d. Švedijoje Västerås mieste vyko konferencija, kurios metu mokslininkai, NVO organizacijų, bei sportinės žūklės atstovai iš Švedijos, Latvijos, Lietuvos, Estijos, Baltarusijos, Lenkijos bei Rusijos dalinosi patirtimi žuvų migracijos kelių atvėrimo bei užtvankų šalinimo klausimais. Kolegos iš Švedijos pasirūpino šauniomis ir informatyviomis ekskursijomis po apylinkes kur užtvankos jau demontuotos ar įrengtos žuvų pralaidos, žuvitakiai. Kartu su gidu Daniel Bergdahl (Daniel specializuojasi upių atkūrimo srityje) ir visa delegacija aplankėme Hammarskogs ir Guldsmedhyttan upes, kuriose jau nugriauta kelios užtvankos: viena iš jų priskiriama kultūros paveldui, džiugu, kad visuomenė ir aplinkosauginės organizacijos randa bendrus sutarimus ir geba dirbti kartu. Guldsmedhyttan upėje ne tik nugriautos kelios užtvankos ir taip atverti žuvų migracijos keliai, bet ir įrengtas žuvų skaičiuotuvas ( http://fiskdata.se/raknare/live/live.php?locationId=115 ). Taip pat aplankėme stop Mölntorp mieste esančią hidroelektrinę, kurioje „dar kvepia dažais“ ( http://blogg.malarenergi.se/ny-fiskvag-vasterkvarn-ger-fle…/ ). Neseniai, čia, Švedijos hidroenergijos įmonė Mälarenergi investavo 6 mln. eurų ir įrengė žuvų pralaidą ne tik kylančioms, bet ir grįžtančioms žuvims. Johan Lind buvo mūsų gidas, reikėtų paminėti, kad Johan dirba hidroenergetikos įmonėje, o jo tiesioginis darbas rūpintis, kad hidroenergija būtų kuo draugiškesnė aplinkai. Atvykus prie Hedströmmen upės mus pasitiko Johan Törnblom, kuris papasakojo apie upės atkūrimo procesą žingsnis po žingsnio. Taip pat priminė, kad vien įžuvinti upės nepakanka, ji laikysis pamėgtame upės ruože jei jame bus pakankamai maisto: vabzdžiai, lervutės ir kita fauna, tad reikia rūpintis ne tik upe ir žuvimi, bet ir gamta kurioje ji teka. Nors dienos buvo tik kelios, bet žinios ir idėjos, kurias gavome, neįkainojamos. Ąčiū kolegoms už puikią atmosferą, o ypatingą padėką reiškiame CCB – Coalition Clean Balticuž galimybę sudalyvauti puikioje konferencijoje bei už organizacinį darbą, kuris vertas aukščiausių balų.

November 19-22nd a conference was held in Sweden, Västerås city where scientists, NGO organizations and sports fishermen from Sweden, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Belarus, Poland and Russia were sharing their experience and knowledge about fish migration routes openings and the elimination of dams. Colleagues from Sweden arranged informative and exiting excursions in the area where dams were already dissmantled or new fish ladders were installed. Together with our guide Daniel Bergdahl ( He is specializing in river recovery ) and the entire delegation visited the Hammarskogs and Guldsmedhyttan rivers where several dams have been dismantled, one of which is cultural heritage, it is nice that the public and environmental organizations finds ways to work together for better tomorrow. In Guldsmedhyttan river not only several dams were destroyed which opened new routes for fish migration, but also they installed fish registrator (http://fiskdata.se/raknare/live/live.php?locationId=115 ). We also visited the Hidro Power Station, located in Mölntorp, where you can still “ smell the paint” ( http://blogg.malarenergi.se/ny-fiskvag-vasterkvarn-ger-fle…/ ). Not long ago Swedish hydro energy company Mälarenergi invested 6 million euros and installed fish ladders not only for fish that go up the stream, but also for the returning fish. Johan Lind was our guide, and we should mention,that Johan works in hydroelectric power plant company and his direct work is to make hydro energy as friendly for environment as possible. When we arrived at the Hedströmmen River we met Johan Törnblom, who explained us about the river recovery process “step-by-step”, also he made a point that when you are restoring fish resources, you need to make sure that the food base for fish is reasonable ( enough insects, grub and other fauna) for fish to stay and comeback again in those river sections. That means that you need to take care not only of the river and the fish, but also of the nature in which it flows. While there were only a few days, but the knowledge and ideas we have received are priceless, thanks to colleagues for a great atmosphere, and a special thank you to @coalitioncleanbaltic for the opportunity to attend a great conference and for the organizational work that gets the highest grades possible.
